Dr. Mary Catherine Land, MD

Dr Mary Catherine Land MD was my pediatric doctor growing up in the 2000s. In fact, she was all of my sibling's pediatric doctor growing up for the most part. When I think back to being under her care, I get incredibly sad. As my doctor, I felt incredibly judged and unsafe with her. She ignored and failed to recognize the signs I was in an incredibly abusive household, which lead to constant reoccurring stomach issues that she never took seriously. In fact, one time I came in for excessive belching and stomach issues, which I later found out I had h pylori as a young adult, and she literally laughed in my face and in front of my father because my issue was "excessive burping." This lead to me being abused at home and felt like none of my issues were real but made up. She lead to a lot of additional trauma in my childhood. My whole heart does not recommend her.
