Dr. Mary Lou Mcmullen Lawson

The best description I can come up with is--rude. No care thought for a person or compassion. More like frustration. Nurse mostly the same only sometimes friendly. You feel like your bothering them and the staff is not much different.

Dr lawson, is an excellent dr, She listens to everything you say, and i'm a complicated patient, treats me well and helps fix my health problems, awesome staff also... F.S.

Dr. Lawson has always been very good to me and my family and is always able to treat us. As long as you aren't rude to her or a complete idiot in the exam room, she is a great doctor. She does not tolerate stupidity, like refusing to take your meds or not listening to what she is trying to tell you. Before this ridiculous new computer system was forced on doctors in the Presby system, she always had time to sit and listen to any of my concerns. She has a very no-nonsense manner and always cuts right to the heart of my medical issues.

She won't look you in the eye. She cuts you off mid sentence. She's rude to the point of making me cry and her nurse Dixie isn't much better. They're very condescending and I won't go back. She's a disgrace to novant health!! I love Presbyterian hospital in Charlotte but THIS nasty doctor needs to go solo instead of dragging down this healthcare system. Find a different female doctor. This one is just rude and nasty. I don't think she even likes people!!!!!!!

The worst.

On more than one visit, Dr. Lawson simply cut off the visit short even though I had more questions to ask and also wanted clarification on the prescription she had written. My daughter finds her gruff and hurried. Even my wife is turned off from her.
