Dr. Mary Patricia Leahy, MD

I am a long time patient of Dr. Leahy. Her compassion for her patients is unequalled. She takes the time necessary to discuss your concerns, addresses them as needed and follows up to be sure you are responding to treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Leahy to anyone looking for a well educated and highly competent doctor.

Dr Leahy's caring and compassionate manner does not make up for her lack of diagnostic skills and poor attention to detail. She has missed my diagnosis for years as she is reluctant to refer any of her patients to specialists. She has been mismanaging my high blood pressure for years. I only found this out when I finally went to a cardiologist on my own. Beware--this group never refers their patients to specialists

Maybe the title of Healing Angel seems over the top to some. But I've known and been followed by Dr. M Leahy for 16 years.She has provided sound diagnostic and knowledgeable skills. Has a very pleasant disposition. Caring and takes into account of the patient entire well-being....physically, emotionally, and so on.I've had my share of doctors in all specialized field but none are comparable and competent as Dr Leahy. She gave me encouragement and moral support when I was going through a difficult time. So, any doctor could call themselves a doctor. But it takes a tall order to be called extraordinaire!!
