Dr. Mary Wade Martin, MD

I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate Dr. Mary Martin.

Doctor does not need to be practicing. Watch out because she order lots lab test and they never call you with results. Be careful because she will prescribe medications that you don't need to be taken. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. The office staff incompetent and rude.

I am going a different route after my last visit with Dr. Martin. I cannot say I have ever had a visit where I felt at ease. Case in point my last visit with her where she decides to take a call on her cell phone while visiting with me. I'm sitting on the exam table legs open, she hands me a cotton swab and simply says "swab take a sample". I never felt so unimportant in my life. She was obviously too busy for me. I did as I was told I took a swab of something..surely I was not doing it right (what patient would know where to swab)...then she goes on to ask me to hold the tub so she could insert the swab!! I will never go back!! Very unprofessional not to mention, I'm not even sure she ever send my labs from a visit I had with her while she briefly officed out of Edmond (which according to her, that staff was not reliable at all). Hmmm....

Very passionate and understanding. She puts you at ease and explains things in away that doesn't make you feel like an idiot.

Do your research before seeing this doctor especially if you are expecting. We found out the hard way that this doctor does not have privileges at the hospitals she says her patients can deliver at (Deaconess and Integris). We were informed that if we would of delivered at deaconess without a doctor with privileges for that hospital then I would have to have had antibiotics because my strep B results wouldn't be known, I would of had to submit to a drug test and I would of had to have a consultation with CPS! This doctor led us to believe that she knows doctors who will deliver us and when the exact doctor was asked, the doctor didn't even know who Dr. Martin was.

I've been seeing her since 2003, she's always been very caring about my health issues, always explained everything. She doesnt rush you in and out, she takes time to make sure any question or issue is answered. I hope to be seeing her til I leave this earth.

I have been in the medical field for over 18 years and have not met many Doctors that have Dr. Martin's kindness and compassion.We are blessed that my daughter found Dr. Martin, she is a blessing to all of us.
