This was my 2nd visit with Dr. Mortell and each time I left feeling well taken care of. She communicates in a professional, confident manner all while being very friendly. She has a way of making it all as pleasant as possible.

Dr Mortell was very thorough and explained everything in a way I could understand. She even went the extra mile and gave me a number for an endocrinologist since mine left. Dr Mortell asked the scheduling staff to accommodate my schedule as I live 4 hours away. Was scheduled next day for my scan!

The doctor and the staff at the actual test/procedure were all great. They made me feel as comfortable as possible considering. However, there were issues with scheduling and my first appointment was scheduled 3 months out. Then they called to reschedule me for a different/day time. Then they called and said they made a mistake and needed to reschedule me AGAIN. And then they scheduled me for 3 more months out and the day after Easter. I was upset about their mistake and I believe because I showed concern they did not try to accommodate me in any way. While in the procedure I heard staff talk about other patients who had a lot of issues with the scheduling department. If you get through to the actual appointment, it will be okay. Not easy getting there.
