The worst Doctor ever

Dr O'Neal was completely dismissive of me and my condition over the course of several appointments. She actually told me there was no point in her spending time to diagnos me because there was no treatment. Her manner is off-putting and she is neglectful. Don't accept this treatment from a doctor.

Amazing, compassionate! !!!

I thought by driving nearly 2 hours to a facility that is top ranked, that I would see a top notch Dr. that could help me. WRONG!!!!! She was odd, ok so what if she was a good Dr. I had to ask her if she was even going to look at my MRI and when she did, I don't think she had a clue. She was not easy to speak to and her bedside manner SUCKED. Her idea of treatment was to start me at base 1 that I did several years prior with no relief. I left there so discouraged, and disappointed and I was no better off. I guess you can't always expect top notch Drs. no matter what facility you go to. WASTE OF TIME. The staff however, was extremely nice.

I was hesitant to keep my appointment based on the reviews below. I found her to be extremely thorough, very kind and really listened to all my complaints/symptoms. I thought Dr. Oneal was just great!

I almost cancelled my appointment after reading scurrilous reports on the internet about her and her staff. she had been recommended by a Dr. who I have profound respect for. Fortunately I didn't and can report only good things about her except for the wait to get an appointment. she was well worth waiting for.

My 1 star ratings are generous. It's only because they don't allow ratings of ZERO STARS. Dr. O'Neal (It's difficult to call this women a DOCTOR) is a super horrible excuse, not only for a doctor, but for a HUMAN BEING as well. I've NEVER in my life come across a more rude, disrespectful, condescending person. She walked into the appointment, reached into the recycling bin and grabbed a piece of SCRAP PAPER. It was on that SCRAP PAPER where she began to scribble down notes about what brought me in for the appointment. REALLY? All I'm worth is a piece of scrap paper from the recycling bin? Furthermore, she hasn't a clue about anything related to neurological disfunction. She ignored what I told her about my symptoms. She ignored my diagnosis that was CLEAR from an MRI. I ended up being rushed to the ER 13 days later and underwent emergency brain surgery. Please, do yourself a favor and find a doctor who will treat you with dignity.

What an awful experience. She walked in and said, "What's brought you here today"? I told her and then went on to tell her about my medical history which was extremely relevant to why I was in her office. She said in the most sarcastic tone ever, "Well, that was a nice story, tell it again..." She didn't take my concerns seriously, nor did she seem to be listening as I was speaking. She said, "If you want, I'll refer you to neurosurgery, but honestly, because your problem is psychological, they aren't going to do anything to help you...but psychiatry may have the answer". SERIOUSLY? HOW do you speak to patients that way? Anyway, I got my referral to neurosurgery. I called the following morning to schedule an appointment/consult. They requested my MRI scans. I fax the report/images and received a phone call 5 minutes later asking, "How soon can you get here"? 8 days later I was in surgery. It's a really good thing I didn't listen to Dr. O'Neal, who quite frankly, was no business having… a medical license. Horrendous doctor and a super poor excuse for a human.

After waiting for almost an hour to see her, the visit turned out to be a complete waste of my time. She hadn't reviewed any of the documents I had sent to her, so she didn't know any of my medical history. When I tried to tell her about my symptoms, she didn't seem like she was listening to me at all- and she definitely didn't seem like she cared. She told me that my other doctors were doing what they should, and she only repeated what I told her other doctors have previously said. She seemed like she couldn't come up with her own opinion. I asked her questions and she gave me rude responses. I asked if she knew what my prognosis might be and she sarcastically replied, "Do you want me to make something up?" and when I asked about a certain diagnosis, she actually just laughed at me. I have never met a doctor so rude, and trust me, I've dealt with a lot of doctors. I would not recommend her at all. Find someone else.

Like I said, don't waste your time. Find someone who will take you and your health seriously!
