Dr. Mary Pat Veerkamp graduated from Depauw University with a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology. She completed her medical education at Indiana University and joined the residency program at Riley Children's Hospital. She is a member of the Indiana State Medical Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, Fort Wayne Medical Society, Indiana Pediatrics, Inc., and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She joined Pediatric Associates, Inc. in January of 1991.

She's warm, patient, and great with kids.

We found that a couple doctors at that practice are quite rude and dismissive, so it was such a relief and a breath of fresh air to find Dr. Veerkamp there. She's never rushed, listens to all your concerns, and is very knowledgeable and intuitive.

She is more worried about giving a flu shot instead of patients actual needs. My children found her to have a poor bedside manner. Would not recommend.

She is unprofessional. She is more concerned about her ego than her patients. Very sad.

Would not recommend. She is not concerned about her patient they are just a number.

Dr. Veerkamp is straightforward and gives you confidence that she knows what she is talking about. Very good with teenage girls.
