Dr. Mary Esther Rocha, MD

I had the misfortune of training under Dr. Rocha when I was in residency. She was awful. Not a very nice or encouraging person. This was many years ago but I still remember how bad she made me feel about myself. And not in a "tough love but I will learn from it" sort of way. I am happy to report I am now a successful physician with happy patients. Hopefully she has changed.

Her parents should have named her "Karen" because she is a Karen in doctor form. Just kinda rude, not personable. I could tell the staff want nothing to do with her. Look elsewhere.

Doctor Rocha was o.k. but I thought she was kind of rude to other medical staff. When someone is rude to their coworkers and people who are "beneath" them it says a lot about them imo. She was a.good doctor tho.

I am sure she is a good doctor but she is not the nicest person to be around. Odd personality. Pediatrics doctors should be nice people.

The infections diseases group at Texas Children Hospital misdiagnosed my daughter with Kawasaki disease when she had pheumonia. As the main physician, she should have form her own opinion bcz my daughter's blood works shows infection but instead she just went blindly along with the wrong diagnose. We were in the Texas children hospital for 10 day under the wrong treatment and by the time they found out they were wrong, my daughter's pheumonia was already so bad that we had to have surgery to drain her lung. We ended up in the hospital for 3 weeks. Very painful experience for me to see my daughter suffer like that.
