Dr. Mary was my doctor until forced out of the Derby practice. I really miss her as she was easy to talk to

Have had an overall wonderful experience with her as my doctor. She is thorough, listens to my concerns, explains everything and makes sure to ask if I have questions. I finally feel cared for and in good hands.

I lost 50lbs (23% of my body mass) after being diagnosed with diabetes and she never mentioned the progress but she did feel the need to point out that if I was diagnosed with sleep apnea the treatment would be weight loss. She ignored my complaints about migraine symptoms and prescribed pain relief medication even though I told her I wasn’t in a lot of pain, I just had a lot of dizziness, nausea, etc. I felt like my concerns were never taken into consideration and she made me feel terrible about my weight even after all my weight loss.

The best doctor

I have multiple rare conditions that took years to diagnose. Even tho various 'Specialists' kept saying there was nothing physically wrong and that I needed a psych evaluation she believed me and stayed the course. While her idea of what genetic condition I had was wrong, it did get me to a Genetisist who got the right diagnosis. The Genetisist was actually impressed with Dr Wolf's idea as there are great similarities in the conditions. I have since had to move south as my health deteriorates and have yet to find a primary half as good as she is. Everyone seems to throw their hands up when I don't fit into a nice easy box. I didn't realize what a rare find it is to have a Dr who is willing to put extra thought into finding a solution instead of simply saying it it's in your head let me put you on an anti-depressant. I only wish I could have brought her with me when I moved. I really appreciate the care she provided and her willingness to keep moving toward what ultimately was a… diagnosis of Ehlers Danlos when so many other Drs gave up on me.

This Dr. was very rude. She was in a hurry . Didn't want to answer all my questions. Told me I came in there for 1 thing she answered that then I asked her another couple questions and she said if I wanted her to answer more I would have to make another appt. It was just a question not a diagnosis she only had to take one second to say yes or no. She was very distressed when I got there already and I feel she was taking it out on me.
