Mary Salerno, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Mary Salerno is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides thoughtful, evidence-based medication management for adolescents and adults ages 13–75. She understands that mental health challenges can feel overwhelming and approaches care with compassion, respect, and individualised attention.

Mary serves the general public and also has extensive experience working with military members, veterans, law enforcement officers, other first responders, and their families. Her goal is to support patients at every stage of life by providing collaborative, personalised care that promotes stability, resilience, and long-term mental well-being.

She specialises in:

• Anxiety disorders (Including Panic disorders)
• Depression
• Bipolar disorder and other mood disorders
• PTSD (including trauma related to occupational stress and life-threatening experiences)
• Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
• Anger and emotional regulation difficulties
• Grief and adjustment …disorders, including difficult life transitions
• Borderline personality disorder
• Psychotic disorders, including schizophrenia

All appointments are conducted via private, HIPAA-compliant videoconferencing. Most follow-up visits last 20–45 minutes, offering the convenience of care from the privacy of your home (or wherever you have a Wi-Fi or cellular connection) — no waiting in crowded lobbies or driving to appointments. Medications are sent electronically to your pharmacy and are typically ready shortly thereafter. Mary offers convenient appointment times and treats every patient with respect and dignity.
