Dr. Scholand has treated me for my lung disease since just after diagnosis, and I know I am in the best hands. She strikes that perfect balance between being professional and personable. She genuinely cares about me as a patient, rejoices in successes with my treatment, and even empathizes (in an encouraging way) on unrelated health/life challenges. I want a physician who is confident BECAUSE they're competent -- and that describes Dr. Scholand perfectly. I trust her completely because she knows what she's doing and explains things well without being condescending, yet doesn't shy away from telling me when there's uncertainty. Dr. Scholand goes the extra mile -- I have received phone calls and messages from her after hours and on weekends to check how I'm doing, which is simply unheard of. I feel extremely fortunate to be under Dr. Scholand's care.

Dr. Scholand and her staff are all very thorough. They take such good care of me that I think I am actually feeling much better now. Thanks to them I have found out about a lot of other health issues that I was experiencing.
