Dr. Mary Elizabeth Schueth

Dr. Schueth is very personable as is her staff. I have seen her for over 10 years, now, and have been able to get in for acute care when needed as well as regular appointments. She spends time with me, listens to me, and believes me. She also does not over treat and is cautious with medications. She has been a patient herself and understands being on the other side of the table. If I ever have a question or am dissatisfied with something, or interested in discussing alternative treatments she is approachable and open.

I have been under Dr. Schueth's care for 20 years. She is very thorough in her physicals always asking about family members health and connecting issues that might be family related. My husband switched over to her almost 10 years ago and now has his blood pressure under control. The previous doctor did not prescribe the correct medicine to control blood pressure and cholesterol. In an emergency Dr. Schueth will change her schedule to get us in. She takes care of three other extended family members. We know we have a doctor that cares about our health and well being.

Front office staff is absolutely terrible, Dr. Cain is very unprofessional, dishonest and rude. Go to a vet before this office.

Staff is very rude and uneducated about necessary office practices such as faxing insurance forms or calling in Rx's. Avoid at all costs.

She forces all patients to wait "24 hours" before being able to pick up your prescription. This 24 hour period usually last about 2-4 days! It is absolutely ridiculous!! Her office hours are also 9-12, 1-4 Mon Tues Thurs and Fri, making it near impossible to get scheduled and when I finally do, I have to take off work in order to go and see her. I have never ever run into as many problems as I have with this Mary Schueth!

I have been going to Dr. Schueth for more than ten years. I really like her personality and how thorough she is. I like that she is in a small office with just her, and you can get to know the nurse and receptionist.

Not happy with this doctor who is actully my parent's physician. Thank goodness I am actively involved in my parent's care - got copies of test results and on multiple instances, pieces of information were skipped over - alarming to say. The Dr. has not treated me nor my sibling kindly with regards to questions or concerns about our parent. In fact, I called to ask a question and she called another sibling of mine to tell her what I had called about - thereby miscommunicating and causing a major family fight. Looking for another physician...

I have been a patient of Dr. Schueth for 10 years. Consistently across this lengthy period of time, I have found her to be an exceptional physician. When I have presented genuinely acute medical issues, Dr. Schueth has made time in her schedule to see me the same day, or the following day. Based on my presentation of symptoms, she has provided timely and excellent referrals to three specialists. For another chronic issue for which I have remained under her care, Dr. Schueth has appropriate treatment with consistent followup. I have found her to be an artful listener and a responsive, compassionate person. I have good reason to believe that the medical care I've received under Dr. Schueth's direction, and my willingness to follow her directions, has very likely added years to my life. What more could one ask of a physician?

Several years ago on a routine physical exam, Dr. Schueth detected a miniscule "lump" at the base of my husband's throat, which could have been a cyst or something else benign; however, she referred him to an ENT, who ordered a needle aspiration biopsy. The "lump" was then diagnosed as thyroid cancer and the thyroid was surgically removed, essentially saving his life. The pathologist and the surgeon both remarked that Dr. Schueth's having located the tiny cyst was nothing short of amazing,!
