Dr. Mary Ann Slominis, MD

She took time with me and examined my conditions. Went beyond her duties to describe in detail my illness and treatment. I felt she cared for me and was not being treated as a one time in and out patient. She also took time and discussed life experiences that I brought up. Very impressive as a person and doctor. Recomend highly.

Misdiagnosed, and then didn't talk about side effects when prescribing medication for the correct diagnosis. Get's defensive and doesn't care about the patients experience, just in a hurry to prescribe and move on.

She the most engaged doctor I have ever been to. Listens to you, takes enough time and is not afraid to actually examine you. The Best !

Dr. Slominis was our doctor before she went into urgent care. She was wonderful, both my wife and I were very comfortable with her care.

I'm so saddened to read the negative reviews here. Dr. Slominis was such a blessing for my husband and I to find! We had not been happy with our previous Doctor, so Dr Slominis came highly recommended to us by a friend. I was so pleased to find a Doctor that gave me her full attention, a compassionate ear, and did NOT push pills at me, but worked with my desire to treat my body holistically first before trying prescriptions. She worked with my husband's cholesterol to help him improve his diet and exercise rather than push pills at him. She treats you like a human being and she has faith in the body's power to heal if treated properly. She is an excellent and thorough doctor who treats her patients the way people should be treated. I highly recommend her.

I went in for depression and feeling tired. After several appointments without making a necessary call to a councilor for my depression, which was necessary in order for my insurance to cover counciling, she wrote me a letter telling me not to come back because she refused to call the councilor's office telling me it was my responsibility, when it was not and against my insurance policy, and beause she refused to admit she didn't know what was wrong. I was found four months later to have a serious mental health condition and hospitalized four months after my condition deteriorated. The distress this caused my family and I is more than I can write in a simple review. I'm not sure how she sleeps at night. I am thankful to have found the healthcare I needed elsewhere.
