After I overcame the odds of my diagnosis and began my career as a fulltime working professional, Mary called my mother without my knowledge and told her that I shouldn't work fulltime. However, Mary never brought her idea about my life to my personal attention. Later I told her that I disagreed with being forced to take medication for the rest of my life considering my success and overcoming the obstacles in my life. She just said "wow must be hard!" with a smirk on her face. If patronizing someone who proved that healing is possible is Mary's form of comforting the mentally ill, then Mary shouldn't work fulltime and devote the time she has left to uplifting the dispossessed.

My family member was in her care at Texana and Dr. Soderstrom prescribed Prolixin. My family member with this drug experienced terrible side effects and she didn’t mentioned the warning signs during the appointment. At the emergency room the doctors used Benadryl and when we contacted her she just forgot to prescribe the medication in case of serious side effects.
