Dr. Mary Lynn Stoffel, MD

Dr. Stoffel has shown extreme professionalism and deeply compassionate care for our family for over 23 years. Mary is an extraordinarily gifted caregiver.

Nurse and doctor don't seem to communicate. Dr Stoffel always seemed rushed and had little patience for issues once IUD was in place. She refused to believe symptoms still existed and that the current course of treatment was not working. Went so far as to say I needed a psychiatrist. I went to another doctor and they could not believe the prior treatment plan. Overall this office only cares about billing.......not people. So glad I moved on. There are too many good doctors in Madison and life is to short to live with pain or be made to feel inferior or crazy by another human being.

Dr. Stoffel is a very caring, patient and experienced physician. Our experience has been very positive. We've never waited longer than about 10 minutes for the nurse to call us back...typically it's about 5 minutes. And as soon we wrap up with nurse, Dr. Stoffel is in the room! I have never felt rushed or marginalized during a visit and being a first time mom, I had many questions...she is wonderful. She has timely handouts as you move through a pregnancy that help set expectations and answer questions you may not have known you had! Other highlights:The waiting room is beautiful, there is coffee, tea and water for patients.The lab is adjacent to the waiting room and many times our results are back while we are meeting with the Doctor and she explains them to us immediately.The front staff is super nice and friendly.The nursing staff is wonderful! Very caring, patient and friendly. The whole culture in the office is positive.I would recommend Dr. Stoffel to a friend. We… haven't delivered the baby yet...but we are looking forward to it with Dr. Stoffel or any of her lovely associates!
