I Took My Kids to Dr. Strength when Babies through Adulthood, and Now Take My Grandkids, Would Not Even consider going somewhere else, Great Job Doc.

Dr. Strength has treated both my girls their entire lives. She is wonderful and has been our savior numerous times. Competent, reliable and great with kids!

Some of the ladies at the front are friendly. The majority of them are rude, tend to roll their eyes and should not be working at a pediatrician's office. Dr. Strength was a great pediatrician almost a decade ago, but she seems to have become so jaded that she has forgotten how to listen to her patients and their parents. I have never had a more than 2 minute conversation with her and my son has been going here for 3 years. She is rude and dismissive and has a horrible bedside manner. She needs to retire. Nurse James was great until about a year ago, and was the reason I didn't switch after meeting Dr. Strength but she seems to have rubbed off on him and he no longer seems engaged or willing to listen to concerns without getting defensive. Save yourself and your child some grief, do not go here. The staff is burned out and has lost the passion that's needed for their chosen vocation.

We took our 1 year old child for a checkup and vaccine but we never saw any doctor. the young nurse that attended us was very impatient and try to rush us out. She did not take temperature, she did not take weight, she didn't even ask us any questions about the child, she just gave the shot and left. We waited until we don't want to wait anymore, then left the office and checkout out. Our son was crying the whole time due to pain from the shot. No one cares here at all. When I try to complaint, we were told if we don't like it we don't need to go back.

I would give zero stars if that was an option. This might be long but feel like I need to say something as a warning to other parents. We took my daughter to dr strength when she was 3 days old for her very first check up. When we first walked in the door the first thing I noticed was a bad smell and a dirty waiting room. Not to mention the entrance is the “sick” side. So in order to get to the “well” side you have to first be in the sick side which kind of bothered me considering my daughter was only 3 days old and basically had no immune system yet. We were given a whole packet of sheets to fill out which does make sense since it was our first time there. I had a lot of questions about the packet and the receptionist was absolutely no help. Then they said they couldn’t take my insurance even though we made sure they would over the phone before we scheduled the appointment. We decided to just pay out of pocket instead. After 45 minutes of waiting to we got called back (we got there… early anticipating paperwork but this was 45 minutes after our scheduled appointment time) The nurse was incredibly rude and acted like she was annoyed that we were even there. Once dr strength finally came in she introduced her self then immediately starting listing off things of “don’ts” which she flew through so fast that I remember absolutely none of it, then pretty much told me exclusively breastfeeding isn’t what’s best for any baby. When she started the physical exam she was extremely rough with my THREE DAY OLD. I understand that doctors & nurses are used to dealing with babies and usually know how to handle babies without acting like they’re super fragile but the way she was handling her was not that. She flipped her over and threw her on her face then HELD HER UP BY HER LEG AND SHOOK HER. Mind you my daughter is screaming so hard at this point that she is turning purple and can’t catch her breath. After she finally was done with the exam she said we could get her dressed again and said everything looks perfectly normal and then proceeded to tell us that we should basically only bring her in if she’s running a fever over 103. This all happened in 15, maybe 20, minutes then she practically ran out of the door. After having such an awful experience with her we took my daughter to a different pediatrician for her two week check up which was a night and day difference. But the most important this was that the second doctor told us our daughter has congenital hip dysplasia and that it needed to be treated ASAP, because it can cause major issues later on in her life. Dr strength NEVER mentioned anything about it. The second doctor sent us to Scottish Rite and they immediately put her in a harness to start correcting her hips. Had we not switched doctors we would have absolutely no clue about any of this and it would have gone untreated. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN TO DOCTOR MARY STRENGTH.

I just talked to my daughter in Texas she was telling me what the Dr had said about her breast feeding this woman made my daughter feel like she was starving my grandbaby and that is far from the truth and not all baby gain weight at the same as formula feed babies my daughter cried cause this so called Dr was so rude so when my daughter comes to Ga in a few weeks were going to take our grandbaby to a real Dr that knows what they are doing

I have been taking my kids to Dr. Strength for 16 years. Never had any complaints. She is wonderful and always spent time with us.

Staff was rude and uncompassionate to human life. I had given birth to twin girls . I was told by pedestrian upon leaving the hospital to see a doctor the following Monday morning. I was greeted by a receptionist that was only worried about payment method (insurance) instead of the welfare of two 6 day old girls. As a first time mom , It would have been nice to have been reassured that my babies were healthy and growing properly.

Experience counts. Dr Strength knows her stuff.

She's a great pediatrician! She was my doctor and now my child's!
