Dr. Mary Kathryn Toland, MD

The absolute best Doctor! I’ve been seeing Dr Toland for over 30 years. She is so loving, caring, compassionate, kind, understanding....my list could go on and on. She treats you with respect. You feel like you’re going in to have a visit with a friend. She has never ever made me feel rushed. She explains things thoroughly and always listens to your concerns or questions. When it came time for me to find a pediatrician for my children I knew right away I wouldn’t take them to anyone except for Dr. Toland. She came to the hospital to visit each of my 4 children the day after they were born for their first checkups. They have been seeing her since. My kids adore her. She speaks to them as the young people they are. This has always made them feel comfortable and they never feel worried or scared to tell her what they are experiencing or what they are concerned about. We found out that Dr. Toland is retiring later this month and our family cried. She has become so special to us. I don’t… know what we will do without her. I know we will never find someone as wonderful as she has been!! She has left some very big shoes to fill. We love you, Dr. Toland and wish you all the best! ??

Dr. Toland has been my doctor for roughly 20 years. She is very caring and thorough. She takes time to explain test results and steps needed for improvement. Wouldn't want to see another.

I am a Registered Nurse and I have been seeing Dr. Toland for around 20 years and she has never let me down. She is thoughtful and kind. I never feel rushed or just a number. She always explains new meds to me and gives me an opportunity for input. I hope I never have to change doctors again. She knows me and understands me. She treats the whole patient rather than just the symptom.. She is WONDERFUL!!

Dr. Toland is an wonderful doctor. She is caring and listens intently to questions, symptoms, etc. I appreciate that she takes time explain her diagnoses, and any medications she may prescribe. She also encourages her patients to be aware of what is going on in their own bodies, and to be proactive in maintaining good health through a healthy diet and exercise. She has been my doctor for many years, and I have greatly benefitted from her knowledge of her profession, and from her gracious manner. I would (and have!) recommend her to anyone seeking a primary care physician.

Dr. Toland is an excellent and caring doctor. She takes time to both listen to and work with the patient. She does not have the condescending manner many doctors seem to have either because they are too busy or they really do think they are better than everyone else. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MARY TOLAND BOTH AS A DOCTOR AND AS A REALLY NICE PERSON.
