Dr. Mary Jean Vrabec

I made an appt as a new patient and talked with the receptionist for a good 5 minutes or so about where I was from(3 hours away) my symptoms (that had been going on almost 6 months and saw 4 other Drs who had no idea what was wrong with me) and provided my insurance information. I did MY part. I had all of my records sent there, I showed up early and filled out my 5 pages of paperwork including detailed medical history and family history. The Dr listened to about 5 whole minutes of my story and said I need to go see8 a neurologist and get an eye exam. Then she started asking me if I had any testing done!!! I had over $20,000 worth of testing done and no answers and that was why I was there! I asked if she had even reviewed my records and she said no....what a disappointing visit! I was told by the Dr that she'd review my records and call me. 2 whole weeks go by and nothing! I finally got someone on the phone to give her a message to call me! She has her asst call me and left a brief… message stating she reviewed my records and doesn't see and need for any further tests and to just go see a neurologist. NO referral to one nothing! you can't call here and leave a message to have someone return your call! It took me 11 times in a week to try to get thru wasting 15 to 30 plus minutes on hold only to be disconnected. I'm disappointed to say the least, frustrated and angry. I still have my symptoms and am suffering ?? This Dr does not care. Don't waste your time and money

Excellent gives you plenty of time and very thorough.

I am new to Colorado and had to leave my fantastic doctor in Texas behind. Dr Vrabec has taken me on as a new patient, she make a great first impression and I am so glad that our paths crossed. She is a great listener, very attentive to detail and the best part is that I didn't have to wait at all. Highly recommend her.

I had been experiencing odd symptoms off and on for 2 years, saw Dr Vrabec when one of those symptoms escalated. She listened, knew I was traveling once again that night and recommended that I go to the ER to get some deeper tests run (even though not an emergency situation, they just had the gear needed). Turns out I have lymphoma, and I am grateful that she helped me identify it early by being cautious and feeling something wasn't quite right. My treatment will be long, but who knows what would have happened if she hadn't forced the issue. Thank you!

I have had experienced with a wide-range of physicians over the last 30 years and quite disappointed that Dr Vrabec lacked basic patient centered care practices. For example, during new patient intake with complex and long medical history, Dr Vrabec shared that she only had 20 minutes to know what was requested of her--- some would think having a physician to quickly write scripts or make referrals, but unfortunate she's not concerned about quality care or medical malpractice. In contrast, the doctor's office staff was friendly and professional, for the most part. It also appears that Dr Vraeck has a number of patients with disabilities, but concerns me whether she has the time to care of their needs in a professional manner. In having the utmost respect for physicians, I would not recommend Dr Vrabec to anyone that has an interest in quality care and best practices in the medical profession.

Been a long time coming bad bad bed side manner has a rude arrogant butch attitude always has to be in control she has a HUGE habbit of putting you down when your already down leaves you hanging on your psychiatric meds to the point your deathly sick absolutely unprofessional brutal and dgaf or remember half of your health problems you don't know anything about your own body that you lived in for years or health problems SHE's the ONLY one who KNOWS EVERYTHING!! what ever you know is WRONG with you she don't care or want to hear it!! your pain and feelings DON'T MATTER!! and always strives and aimes to make you feel worser than you were already feeling before you walked in to her office to see her..it dont matter about what progress you made or what you have changed or accomplished a drone has more compassion then any bone in her body does NO ONE suffering from chronic pain or limited mobility should have to put up with being talked over or be told what they WILL DO!! a doctor's job… is to listen to there patients up lift them care for them and give them options to help them live in there bodies as comfortable as they can CAUSE THERE SICK already dealing with multiple disabilities and DONT WANT TO HEAR YOU SAY YOUR PAIN DONT REALLY HURT!! "basically" always needing to BOOST YOUR little EGO or AGENDA!! the only reason why i gave her a 1 star was because there wasn't a 0 to touch on
