Dr. Mary Jane Zakelj, MD

Dr. Zakelj surprised me, her name suggested otherwise, but she was born and raised here in Ohio and speaks normal English - Have NO problem understanding her (she says: “for obvious reasons, just call me Dr. Z). She is prompt, on time, professional AND friendly, courteous and clearly loves little children. She listened carefully to my description of my son's problem, without constantly interrupting. She seems to be figuring things out as she went. She calmed my son during the exam with pleasant “banter” (for a five year old) and clearly knows what she is doing. When she was satisfied with her exam, she clearly and calmly explained her diagnosis and how to treat it; answering all my questions clearly and politely, without the barely restrained arrogance and impatience found with so many other doctors. Her treatment seems ‘spot on’ as well, since J.jr. is now his normal non-stop self again. Thank you Dr. Z.
