Dr. Marya Christeen Gendzielewski, MD

I've been seeing Dr. G for several years. She has untangled some issues created or ignored by previous endocrinologists and has helped me to resolve a problematic health problem . She was a bit abrupt at the first consultation but over the subsequent visits she has been much more engaging.

During my appointment, after 45+ minute wait, I was greeted by Dr. Gendzielewski (complete lack of bedside manner) and listened as she complained about patients not showing up on time. More importantly, she was NOT prepared for my appointment. She specifically stated that she didn’t review my chart because she was “sick last night”. In addition, my bloodwork was not on hand. I explicitly called the day prior to ensure the staff received my bloodwork. The staff member stated it was “ironic” that I called because she had “just received your bloodwork”. Please, look for another doctor. I wish someone would have warned me. To worsen the matter, there documentation that is supposed to be uploaded to the portal— incomplete.

Doctor Gendzielewski is a doctor that knows what she is doing with years of experience. She will tell you exactly what to do to make yourself better. She is a straight shooter and would not make a recommendation without consideration of your circumstances. In my experience she is always willing to discuss your circumstances and make sure the medication is working correctly for my situation. She came to the rescue in a horrible situation and with her direction I was able to get back to a new normal in no time! I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Like the other comments, she may know her business, but explaining and actually listening to patients is not in her wheelhouse. She couldn’t have made it more evident that she was Not listening to me, was not really concerned with my background or how drugs affected my sensitive system. She just put a blanket over it all and left the room. It was , let’s try this, and let’s try that. The office staff was belligerent and also do not listen to you. Try to straighten out a problem and they will tell you it’s computers and not them ever. I will not go back. Very disappointed as she was highly recommended.

Dr. G is brilliant. She listens well, communicates clearly, and recognizes and treats medical conditions that other doctors could not identify. She made a huge difference in my quality of life.

I went to Dr. G when my regular doctor did not resolve a health issue that was changing my life, interfering with daily living. Dr. G diagnosed it in minutes, prescribed a medication that made a huge difference, and I am now able to put this worry behind me. We discussed other health issues and I will return for check-ups. I can't thank her enough nor can I minimize the difference her experience and skill made in my life. Amazing.

this is the best dr. i have been to. she is very thorough and will check out anyhing even out of her speciality . she will reccomend other drs. to follow up if need be. i feel she has saved my life more than once.

Dr. G is rude, disrespectful and totally unprofessional when talking to patients. She may have some skills but her bad attitude overshadows them. If you enjoy getting yelled at, belittled, bullied and told you are not going to live so long...she is your doctor. Also, your insurance will get billed if you step into her office and she tells you she doesn't accept your insurance so she can't not see you as a patient.
