Dr. Cowan is a compassionate physician who takes patient care seriously. I have a health issue that makes pregnancy complicated. Dr. Cowan worked patiently with me through the years, to ensure my body finally got to a healthy state, where pregnancy was a viable option. I am thrilled to note at the time of this review, I am 8 months pregnant! Dr. Cowan works extremely hard to make her patient's health goals a success. I am extremely grateful for her empathetic, and outstanding care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cowan for over 20 yrs. I would and have recommended her to family, friends, and co-workers. Dr. Cowan is knowledgeable, considerate, and professional. She always takes her time to address any questions or concerns I might have, patiently. She takes her time with each and every one. She has a great bedside manner. Her staff are also kind, and professional.

I've been to a number of OBGYNs but absolutely love Dr. Cowan....in fact, I've recommended her to my colleagues and even my family. She delivered my son and my sister's son! It is hard to make the first initial appointment...but she is worth the wait.

For 22 years I went to a male OBGYN & then I found MaryAlice Cowan. My first visit with her was amazing. She asked me certain questions that I had never been asked before & she could relate to me as a woman so much better. You can ask her anything & she spends time with you. I look forward to my appointments with her & I have also had my daughter going to her. Now my daughter is expecting a baby & I have all the confidence in the world that she will bring my new granddaughter into the world to meet her new mother & grandmother.

I almost hate to tell people how good Dr. Cowan is because she'll become even more popular and harder to get an appointment with! I have literally been going to her for 28 years. She delivered all three of my children, one who had Down syndrome, and seen me through a sad miscarriage and now the ups and downs of menopause. I wouldn't dream of seeing another doctor. When I go for my annual check-up it's like a visit with a dear friend whose judgment I totally trust. She is absolutely the best!!

Dr. Cowan is a wonderful doctor. She has been extremely helpful getting me through menopause and the resulting issues. She has been my doctor for years and I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Cowan is organized, efficient and friendly. Her calm demeanor and fun sense of humor really make appointments enjoyable. When delivering my first child she allowed me to try natural delivery for as long as I/ the baby could handle it, even though I suspect she knew long before I did that I would need a C-section. I appreciate the respect and level of control she gave me at such a vulnerable time. She's an expert at C-sections too so my scar healed well and isn't noticeable. You may have to wait sometimes but it's worth it!
