Dr. Maryam Ghavami-Maibodi, MD

Dr. Ghavami’s expertise, work ethic and high level of professionalism throughout the entire office visit and follow up appointments with my children has been incredible and consistent. She has up to date knowledge and research not only on recurring illnesses, but also on new diseases. Her strategic, calm, friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable personality fits extremely well with children and families. She also goes above and beyond to ensure the child’s health, as well as taking the time to connect with the patient. She is both my children’s favorite pediatrician.

Dr. Ghavami did not connect well with my children, she believes that if she raises her voice a few octaves that she is being "kid friendly." In her attitude towards me and my husband, she was judgmental and self-righteous. If my children were not in the room I would have told her off. I get it; there are a lot more "bad" parents out there than there was 20 years ago, but that does not give anyone the right to be insulting and presumptuous. Suffice it to say, my children will not be seeing her again.
