Welcome! I'm Maryam Oladejo, a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing compassionate and comprehensive behavioral health care. With a rich background in nursing and health education, my goal is to empower individuals across their lifespan to achieve optimal mental wellness. My journey in healthcare began in Nigeria, where I earned a degree in Health Education. I furthered my expertise with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Prairie View A&M University and completed my Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric Mental Health at Northern Kentucky University. I'm currently pursuing my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree, focusing on enhancing my clinical skills and broadening my knowledge in healthcare leadership and policy. Throughout my career, I've gained invaluable experience working in various settings, including the Medical Psych Unit at Ben Taub General Hospital. These roles have honed my skills in patient advocacy, …and delivering personalized care plans. Currently, I serve the community at Texana Center where I extend my services to low-income and underserved populations, ensuring that everyone has access to quality psychiatric care. My approach is holistic—I believe in combining psychotherapy with medication management to address both the mind and body. I'm proud to extend my services to TRS Health in Stafford, TX, where I collaborate closely with the Behavioral Health team to assess and treat a wide range of psychiatric conditions. With multiple state licenses (Texas, Washington, Arizona) and board certification as a PMHNP, you can trust that you're in capable hands.
