Dr. Maryam Rahimi, DO

I went to the office of Dr. Maryam Rahimi (Pain Management Physicians Newport Beach) (Orange County & Rehab Clinic) shortly after my surgery. This Doctor will not prescribe medication as needed. Dr. Maryam Rahimi is one of those greedy, manipulative doctors. She will make you set appointments so she can stick you in every way with multiple trigger point injections; until she has made enough money to validate giving you medication. The staff is excellent, "Jeff." This Dr. tried to set up three additional visits for trigger point shots. Dr. Rahimi called me randomly on an unscheduled day during the work day after my prescription was due when I was with someone and started talking about lowering my medication and asking me about the trigger point shots. I said they didn't work; they aggravated my nerves, and she didn't like that answer and then discharged me. I am so disappointed and highly advise all patients: Do not go to this Doctor if you have a severe problem with your back. She… will add additional pain and stress by changing your routine.

Dr. Rahimi has an infectious personality! She is personable, caring, and she has a gentle reassuring touch! She is a great technician! I have had 10 knee injections of Supartz, no swelling, bruising or pain after the procedures. I am about to start PRP therapy (stem cells) and can't wait to see the results. After visits with numerous doctors, and many knee injections that ended up with pain, swelling and overall dissatisfaction, I have found a home with Dr. Rahimi and recommend her highly!
