She's obviously there for the money. I'm sure she enjoys psychology, but she functions more as a girl friend who can also prescribe.

Dr. Razavi is fantastic. This is the 5th psychiatrist that I've seen over the last 6 years to treat pretty simple generalized anxiety - and until I found Dr. Razavi, no doctor really listened or helped me figure out the best treatment plan based on my life/lifestyle and needs. I enjoy my time with her, I find it very productive and helpful, if I have ever needed anything she's extremely prompt in corresponding - The longest I've waited is 1-2 minutes for our appointments - her practice is very conveniently located some blocks from my office - I highly recommend her to anyone that's looking for an intensely sharp psychiatrist that's really looking out for all of your best interests while keeping it real.

When I started seeing Dr. Razavi, I became convinced about all of the things that she was helping me "work on." My life started to unravel, but I thought that that was just part of the process. When I went on vacation for a few weeks and got a break from her, I realized that a lot of the unraveling was because she wasn't really helping me in a constructive way. I've since stopped seeing her.

Dr. Razavi is spot on with her analyses and has done wonders for both me and my friend to whom I recommended her. She is extremely easy to talk to, very patient, very wise, and very caring. She has taken the time after work and on the weekends to speak with me on the phone when a crisis arises, and I always leave her office feeling much better than when I first walked in the door. I am so lucky to have found her!
