Dr. Maryam Rivaz, MD

Long wait. Dr seems to be always running late. Unorganized staff. She’s knowledgeable friendly. Doesn’t seem to go over my file before visit.

I visited this Dr. once about a month ago. I am still zeroing in on her. Is this the Dr. that works at Palm Medical Group in Las Vegas? Did she go to a medical school in Iran called Shiraz University? Then on to the Univ. of Tennessee? These comments are more about trying to figure out her background than anything else. Anyhow, she was slightly rushed on the first appointment; understandingly so. It was late on a Wednesday afternoon and it may have been her last appointment of the day. Also, I believe that I was about 10 minutes late for my appointment. Her schedule only allows for the last appointment for 3:20 PM. It is cutting the appointment very close to my schedule as I am employed full time Mon-Fri. until 3.PM. It is all the way across town in Henderson. It would be much more desirable if the group recognized the need to have more scheduling flexibility to recognize working persons. I do plan to submit another report after my third or fourth visit. On initial meeting it… seems worthwhile to go to her. She did concentrate on imputing relevant data in order to work with my individual case. In other words, she seems very professional.
