I was attracted by Dr. Prewitt being having online booking, but it was been a time-wasting mess. Borderline malpractice, in my opinion. In summary: major waiting/wasting time, unclear test results and instructions, unreturned calls, and overall lack of care. TL; DR - I saw her for a regular annual and later I got a message that said my test was negative. What test? It took 23 minutes on hold to find out. - I had her insert an IUD, which was so easy, but I received no after care information and no instruction to get an ultrasound. But apparently I was supposed to. - Went to the imaging place and the doctor filled out the form wrong. Now I have to make another trip to both offices. When I finally did do the imaging, no one from Dr. Prewitt's office called with the results for weeks. - I've also had some side effects and couldn't get a hold of anyone to help for a day after calling 9 times and leaving 3 messages. - While I was in the stirrups, she promoted her medspa services. I was told… I could get rid of some fat on my stomach.

Maryann was so professional, and classy. Super knowledgeable! The BEST DOCTOR for your lady parts! Hands down 2 thumbs up!!! LOVE this woman!

I've been going to Dr. Prewitt for years. She's calm, caring, and listens. The result is I feel amazing and I stay healthy. Thank you!!

I must admit that I was suspicious when I was the only patient waiting to see her with an after lunch appointment about 1pm. I only waited about 10-15 min before I was taken back to her office to wait for her to show up. She interviewed me & then said she'd examine me to see if we were a fit! I asked her what she meant by that & she said it wasn't always up to the patient to determine if we'd continue! After she examined me I asked if she'd give me a prescription for a medication I was already taking and she said that would be fine and that she didn't have a problem giving me the prescription. The receptionist gave me a bag with pamphlets and I thought the prescription, also. When I left there still weren't any patients waiting to see her in the waiting room and it wasn't even 2pm yet! When I got in the car I noticed that the prescription wasn't in the bag. I called the next day. The receptionist put me through to her right away. Obviously she was in between appointments? I said… that she forgot to give me my prescription. She said that I probably didn't look carefully enough in the bag but she would mail me another one. Along with the prescription she sent me a certified letter that I needed to find another another physician as if I would ever go back to her again. I know doctors don't normally conduct themselves in this manner as I've been to many previously and since then. My two adult children are also physicians and don't condone that type of behavior. this office advised that, per my insurance (which i had already confirmed) my appointment was free of charge, as it was fully covered by my insurance. two months later, my debit card was charged $115. No calls, no email, no letter.

I booked an appointment online. When I arrived at my scheduled time, I was told that the booking system does not know the doctor's availability and just books the appointment whether the time is available for not. I was then told to wait and they would fit me in if I could wait 15 minutes. After 1 hour and 20 minutes past my appointment time, another patient (not me) was sent in. I finally had enough and told the receptionist that I could not wait any longer. I did not get an apology. The entire experience was very frustrating.

I never write reviews yet took the time to right this one. I needed a new OBGYN so booked an appointment as I could get in quickly. Her staff was nice and friendly, but this was by far the worst bedside manner I have ever encountered in a doctor. She told me additional lab work was necessary, then failed to run the lab tests for what I actually needed them for. Instead, I was treated to a diatribe about Monsanto, nutrition, and how if I were to get pregnant my baby would be at serious risk for birth defects. I left her office near tears feeling terrible about myself and my health. For reference, I am 30, keep a sugar free diet and ran six miles the morning of my appointment. A second opinion on my lab work confirmed I was in excellent health. Reading other comments, this seems to be a common theme. She didn't care about my health, she just wanted to sell me vitamins.

Provided great service, easy to understand medical diagnosis. Took her time to make sure that I had no additional questions.

I've been going to Dr. Prewitt for 2 years now and I've never been disappointed. She's thoughtful, thorough, and really cares.

I had a standard check up where I was told to call in to get a prescription for a particular medication when I would need it months later. Getting in touch with these people is MISERABLE. After two normal messages and an angry message left on their machine, I finally got a call claiming that their answering machine caused some messages to be "indistinguishable". They told me to call the medical line to get the prescription. When I called in to the options to find the medical/medicine/pharmacy line, nothing fit my needs (for getting a NEW prescription, not refilling one). I left another message and received no call back. I am on a strict timeline for this medication and have been trying to fill it through them for the past 2 months. As we all know, getting an appointment with a new Gyno can be difficult so I really have no choice but to go through Dr. Prewitt's office right now. She and her staff have really let me down.
