Dr. Maryanne Horta, MD

Dr. Horta is good, it's her office staff, specifically Celine, is unprofessional and rude.

Dr. Horta is only concerned with addressing front-facing, urgent, existing problems and nothing to do with the root cause. Comes across as very fake and insensitive. Invalidated my concerns as a patient and made me feel unimportant and uncared for.

I think Dr Maryanne Bhojwanii is an excellent endocrinologist. She got to the root of my problem which was thyroid and finally gave me the right medication to help me lose weight. I've never met a more professional doctor when it comes to this problem which I have had for years and never knew what was wrong with me. She's professional and also very friendly and I enjoy meeting with her.

Upon meeting her, I seriously questioned her professionalism. She invalidated every symptom that I was experiencing from the get-go, even laughing at one point. She told me she felt like I wanted to hear that I had diabetes. After explaining the impact of my symptoms, she was finally was able to put two and two together and suggest a possible cause. I received an apology but that doesn’t invalidate the struggle it took to get to that point. I wish I read the previous review sooner and saved myself the very negative experience that is still sitting with me days later...

Main complaint is she does not listen to patients complaints. She has to see a broken bone or blood to think something is actually wrong with you. She needs to learn more about patient assessment. This is the first thing you are taught as and EMT. Because of her lack of experience, patients will continue to suffer and be treated poorly.
