My daughter is a high school athlete and has had ongoing leg and hip issues from training and lifting weights as well as overall growth and body development. We were seeking treatment options after normal over the counter medication failed to address the long term pain. Dr Bormett was extremely through in evaluating my daughter and asked a lot of questions regarding what where when and how the issue occurs. Dr Bormett has been able to not only address the ongoing pain but explain how issues like my daughters is experiencing occur and how to hopefully prevent its reoccurrence and get her out of this injury cycle. Dr Bormett has been diligent in explaining as well as providing direction as my daughter continues to play high school and possibly college sports and train. I injured my back doing landscaping work while overdoing it cutting and removing sod as I installed new landscaping beds at my home. After ongoing debilitating back pain Dr Bormett was able not only able to pinpoint the actual source of the pain, but through a combination of traditional medicine and the use of Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT), Dr Bormett was able to isolate and ultimately relieve the pain completely. Through the treatment process she not only treated the issue but also educated me on the importance of stretching and strength training the region to hopefully reduce the possibility of reoccurrence.
