I recently had a EMR procedure done at Mayo Clinic for a removal of a 6cm polyp. After my colonoscopy screening three polyps were found two 3mm polyps that we’re removed and one 6 cm polyp which was recommended to be removed be surgery. Immediately, I did my research for a nonsurgical outpatient procedure. Luckily, my research led me to Dr. Raimondo. Before the procedure he thoroughly explained what he will be attempting to do and assured me he will do his best to remove the entire polyp if possible. A couple of hours later I awoken in the recovery room to the great news that my polyp was successfully remove. Great job Dr Raimondo!
