Dr. Mathew M. John is a board-certified podiatrist and foot and ankle surgeon at Ankle & Foot Centers, PC in Marietta, Georgia. Originally from the Chicago area, he completed his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and a three-year surgical residency in the Baltimore and Washington, DC region, serving at the National Naval Medical Center and treating active-duty military and members of Congress. He received advanced training in reconstructive foot surgery and limb salvage and served as Chief Resident in his final year.

Dr. John is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and a published medical journal author. He is the Medical Director of the Atlanta Center for Foot & Ankle Surgery in Sandy Springs and helps train podiatric surgical residents across the …Atlanta metro. With experience caring for athletes, he has volunteered as a team physician for the Georgia Middle School Athletic Association and consults for high school sports programs in Cobb and Cherokee counties.
