Agree with another patient, the negative reviews are spot-on and should be a fair warning to all. I wish I had looked at the reviews before blindly accepting the referral my general practitioner made for me to see Dr. Ashbach. He was hands down the worst medical doctor I have ever seen.

a 2.9 out of 5- would you entrust your health to someone with an overall score like that? In my experience, that score is generous. He is a marginal surgeon, but extremely rude and seemingly money oriented. There are a multitude of better ENT surgeons out there...

We drove 6 hours to see this ENT based on his reviews and his NOT affiliation with Peace Health in Whatcom county. We loved him and found him very professional and knowledgeable. We left with answers and a plan for healing. Will return in a heartbeat if the need arises!!!

First visit was concise and to the point; off to a good start.

Dr.Ashback did my tonsillectomy and sinus surgery and my husband's nose/sinus surgery, and we both were immensely pleased with him and the outstanding work he does. Dr.Ashback is not only a stellar and skilled surgeon, his bedside manner is outstanding! He listens to all concerns and stays in the room until all questions are answered, never feeling rushed. His staff is outstanding as well. We now have our 6 year old child that may need ENT services, and we wouldn't even consider taking her anywhere else. Dr.Ashback is THE best.

Dr. Ashbach is rude and entitled. Did not listen to what I had to say, and I was disappointed with the results of my treatment. Buyer beware!

On a scale of one to ten my neck surgery is a one..very unprofessional. I went to see him to s a y I was unhappy,he looked at me and said you look great. Opened his door so I could leave.wow wouldn't recommend him for surgery.he left stitches in my neck,told me to come in anytime would take k e only a few minutes to remove ,couldn't make time. .I live 4hrs away,wanted to set me up when I'm gone.what a waste of my time and money.

I have been a patient of Dr Ashbach for a few years. I have never been disappointed. He always took the time to listen and ask questions. I always left feeling I have received very competent care.

Started with inefficient front staff, then a long wait first thing in the morning. Finally met with the "doctor", who was dismissive and hardly spent any time with me at all. I left feeling like there was no cause for my problem (earache), with no treatment offered. Very frustrating. My subsequent second opinion was far more satisfactory.

The first encounter at the front desk i met with a woman who didn't know anything. Second woman who did the hearing testing was fine. The third woman who took info had a robot demeanor. The doctor never listened to what I was telling him, diagnosed that I have a heart problem which could be causing my imbalance and when I told him I wanted to be tested for my imbalance in my vestibular he said I'd have to go to another clinic. I said fine. He said he doesn't like to refer a patient for unnecessary testing. I suppose my taking bad falls due to the imbalance in not a concern of his. When I pushed him for a referral he said fine if only to prove me wrong. Probably one of the worst medical experiences I've had here in Washington, a list that is growing longer by the week. Would not recommend this doctor to anyone for anything.
