I think this practice is HORRIBLE. I would not recommend it to anyone who experiencing serious GI issues and needs doctors who actually care how they are doing and will follow up. I was referred to this practice from my Primary doc and set up an appointment with Dr. Miller for a colonoscopy. Following my colonoscopy, where I was diagnosed with Severe Ulcerative Colitis, I was suffering tremendously with much pain and spasming. After calling the office and being assured that Dr. Miller would call back the following day I waited all day to speak with her... Needless to say, she never called. I wound up having the colposcopy done by Miller's husband, Dr. Biache, as he could do it sooner than she could and I was in very bad shape and needed to get in ASAP. That procedure went well with him and when it was completed he told me to make an appointment to see his wife in the next 5-7 days so she could review everything with me. He then put me on a very basic medication to help reduce the… inflammation of my colon and assured me that there are plenty of meds to try and they were just going to start with the most basic to see and hopefully within the next 7-10 days I'd notice some changes and if not, it could be switched. Much to my dismay, the meds made my symptoms much WORSE! I had to miss work and even had to cancel attending my professional conference that I had already paid for in advance to attend, as I was completely unable to travel. I was not scheduled to see Baichi for another month in the office, so I called the office 3 times with updates explaining how there was very little improvement after 2 weeks, then 3 weeks--CONSTANTLY running to the bathroom (easily 15x-20x/day), expecting each time I'd get switched to a new medication. I was suffering every day, often missing work and was so frustrated. He did add a steroid, which helped during the day but once it wore off I'd be in the bathroom 10x-12x throughout the night. I was not able to sleep and was EXHAUSTED and needed to find a medication that worked. When I called to see if there was another medication to switch to the "solution" he provided was to take up to 8 Immodium a day (It honestly made me wonder what the deal was this office made with the drug rep who carries this medication..). So finally, after almost a month of being on the medication my symptoms have finally started to abate. I'm not scheduled to see him in the office for another 10 days. Much to my disbelief, after CVS called twice to refill the prescription, he refused to renew it!! So now I'm left with NO medication and am praying I don't have another flare-up again as a result. This doctor is terrible and I would not recommend anyone with serious issues to bother seeing him. He clearly couldn't care less about the well-being of his patients...there are plenty of other docs out there. Avoid this practice!

Went to Dr Baichi on referral from my GP. He saw me quickly, performed an endoscopy, gave me results within two days and sent me to a specialist for a difficult surgery. He and his staff were most accommodating for follow up advice and encouragement. Wonderful, caring professional!

I have waited three weeks for results of a capsule endoscopy ordered by Dr. Baichi and still have not received results. Called twice. Still no response.

Dr Baichi is more than just your GI dr. I consider him a friend! He is a man with a good heart. he cares about his patients. you can tell this by just how he is. When i met him for the first time i knew everything was going to be ok. I can't tell you how but I just knew. If more doctors were like him, kind, gentile, caring, there would be a world of difference how people feel about going to see there doctors. I was in the hospital one time and he was in my room and friends of mine came in, he introduced himself as "Matt, a friend of chips" As i said he is an amazing person, and doctor. i am so glad he's is taking care of me, he is family to me. thank you

Dr. Baichi is honestly one of the best Doctors I went to. I have had a horrible illness for the past Five Years. Dr. Baichi has been by my side non-stop. He has even come into the hospital to see if I was ok when I had a horrible attack. Him and his wife are awesome and REALLY CARE about their patients. I normally don't write reviews about doctors but I felt that people should see what a great guy he is. He helped me thorough my illness even when it wasn't a GI issue. I would honestly trust him with my life.
