Dr. Matthew S Bartelt, DO

I’ve been see Dr. Bartelt for approximately 8 years. He is extremely knowledgeable, takes the time to get to know the patient, and is extremely compassionate. In my 58 years, he is absolutely the best Dr. I’ve ever been to. His office staff is great, and his practice runs on time. I would recommend him to anyone needing a Primary Care Physician.

Dr Bartelt is the most compassionate doctor I’ve been to in my 57 years. He takes the time to listen to you, takes your concerns seriously and I totally trust his diagnosis.

he had my wife taking the wrong medicine and this has led to further problems. he speaks to you very nicely but has trouble in reading or analogizing lab results.

I've had this doctor since he started his practice - he was fantastic with my late husband and I - I moved away from the area, upon arriving back, I was lucky enough to get back into his practice again after 5 years. To me, he's the best!

Recommended to me by a couple who used him for dozens of years. He has been my DO for 6 years. A genuine, honest, expert doctor. Always punctual, never ever rushes, and listens very carefully and thoughtfully to your situation. He makes sure you understand what he diagnoses, and how he will treat you, and makes sure you are comfortable. He has solved some complex problems for me very effectively because of his excellent skills as a doctor.

Dr Bartelt is the best GP. I have had in 71 years in the Lehigh Valley. No matter how poorily I asked a question, he provides an answer that tells what I want to know.

This doctor is a quack. He didn't listen to what I had to say at all. He talked to me in the most condescending way and contradicted everything I explained to him without acknowledging my own symptoms and experiences. He gave me an improper medication that caused me major physical problems rather than prescribing a medication I had been on with great success for the previous 14 years (from another doctor.) He couldn't even properly check my blood pressure. Somehow he read it as 160/100 when it actually came up as 125/85 from 2 other sources. This doctor doesn't listen and doesn't care. My worst experience with any doctor ever.

never rushs, listens carefully, never talks down or over. Always is looking out for wellness in addition to the illness you came in with. very competant and excellent interpersonal skills.
