Completely disrespectful and a disgrace to the medical profession. As soon as he walked into the room he told me he "just numbed up a patient in the other room so I can only take a minute." I had this appointment scheduled for 3 months.

I had this appointment scheduled for 3 months. The first thing he says is that he can only take a minute. So I proceed to tell him I am currently using topical tretinoin and that it isn't working because it has no effect on sebum production. He told me I was wrong and that it does reduce sebum production in the skin. I knew I had read otherwise but I took his word for it. I got home, looked it up and found that in fact I was correct. He had lied to me to get me out of the room so he could go back to his other patient. I contacted him about it via email and he took over a week to respond. When he finally did he lied to me again and told me that he never said it . He's a middle aged obfuscating liar who lives in a nice part of Portland and doesn't care who he helps or hurts. He's in it for the money.

Dr. Basco made it possible for my 9 year old son to have laser surgery. This will remove a birthmark around his right eye which has caused him untold suffering at the hands of classmates and strangers. My family is grateful beyond words-

Dr Basco has to be the least professional doctor that I have ever seen. He is rude and arrogant . When asking him questions he assumes you are questioning his knowledge then he is even more rude to you. I saw him twice and both times his diagnosis was incorrect and so was the medication he prescribed. Save your self time, money and a lot of grief and see a good doctor!!

Very personable, skilled doctor.

Dr Basco was very attentive and very experienced. I could not have asked for more.
