I have been seeing doctor Berger for 20 years and he has helped me more than any other psychiatrist I have seen.

Wow! How some people could rate this practice bad and call out names is beyond me and unprofessional. I especially do not like how one of the nurse practitioners was criticized when the same person has been nothing but an angel to me and trust me, I have messaged her so much that if I were she I would have tried to dump me off on a different clinician. Dr. Berger and his staff try their best, but the patients have to be patient and make effort too. Not everything can be cured by a pill!

Love Dr Berger! Been seeing him for years. Got me back on my feet more than once!

I’ve been with Dr Bergers Office for over 10 years. I had wonderful practitioners before I got stuck with Amanda Craven. First, she told me that me being 32 I shouldn’t have these type of problems I’m having which I had since I was 13 years old. Second, I got the jest that she wanted me to come into the office. (Because I normally have conversations with them over the phone) because she wanted me to come in for a drug test so I did she called me two days later and said I was on all the drugs that were on the list then she called me back and told me “oops I was reading the wrong person’s paper” Third, I told her that I don’t like to drive, so what does she do?? she has me come in to take a test for something that I took a test for when I was 13. And the way she talks to you so condescendingly and rude and acts as if you’re a drug addict when you just have issues that you want to solve… like I never had a problem going there and dealing, but now I get a full-blown anxiety attacks… every time I know that I have to talk to her she ends up making me feel worse when I get off the phone with her and that is why I am giving such low ratings. Because before her, I had a great experience at Dr Bergers Office like Samantha Cummings for example she helped me and I didn’t feel like it was a chore talking to her. I didn’t get anxiety talking to her which i do when I talk to Amanda Craven, my appointment is on Thursday and I have been having an anxiety attack since the beginning of April. God help me.

Dr. Berger has no compassion for this clients. He dismisses people for the very issues they combat. I strongly recommend you find a practice that doesn't have Matthew bergers name on the door...

They call you to remind you of an appointment a few days in advanced to allow you time to cancel or reschedule since they charge you a fee if you don't. They never called for my last appointment and charged me for a cancellation fee when I was never notified. These appointments are set months in advanced due to it being so hard to get into there yet I called the billing department 3 times and also filed a complaint with one lady and nothing was said to me nor did I receive a call back. They also mess up my billing through the insurance quite often and charge me $50 for a $25 copays and I have to call to have it corrected every time. They are nothing but money hungry, poor work ethic, and an overall terrible organization to deal with. I'm on a fine like with them to just switch to my primary care doctor to prescribe my medications and just he done with their lack of professionalism.

The staff is so unprofessional and rude. They don’t listen to simple things and act like everything is an inconvenience.

I’ve been coming to this office for going on 8 months. Can not believe the session I had today which is why I decided to voice record the entire thing. The entire session was so unprofessional and we almost sat in silence because he failed to properly do his job. After him giving me zero advice he decided to say “I can’t see your medical records” had NONE OF MY RECORDS ON FILE.. after 8 months! This is an unethical practice who doesn’t care about the welfare of their patients. He asked me which drugs I was on because he couldn’t see the list of what I was prescribed. Picked a random medication without even asking if I was on it before... it was like playing the game clue. This office diagnosed me with mild depression ( which I’ve never been diagnosed with in my entire life )He didn’t ask me how I respond to SSRI’s, SNRI’s, atypical or tricyclic antidepressants. You would think if someone has been suffering for well over half their life someone in this position.. in this POWER would… take the time to do their job but NOPE, expect very little upon arrival with this winner. He 100% said “I can’t do anything for you” Pure negligence. I will be taking appropriate measures after this session and the negligence of this office.

My experience with Amanda Craven has been the worst out of 10 years of treatment. She threatened me and her negligence put my steps forward in treatment 10 steps back. I would NEVER recommend booking an appointment with her and if you do make sure you at least bring a voice recorder in to record your sessions. She ignored my panic disorder, gave me a wrongful diagnosis and told me to go to the hospital if I thought I was going to have a seizure from her stopping my medication. She had no sympathy for someone who lost their medication and insulted my lack of intelligence. I could never respect a practitioner who doesn’t care about the safety of their patients. I constantly had to repeat myself every session due to her lack of interest and horrible listening skills. She truly has the memory of a chimpanzee. I would never recommend her to someone struggling... NEVER! Giving a 1 Star is even too generous. -1

I have been a patient here for years. I have always hated the office but was happy with my therapist. She retired a year and a half ago. Since then I have had 4 different therapists. I had to change my meds three months ago due to another medical issue I have. The new med is not working. I have been back to see them three times in the last month. Each time with a different person. All three times they have taken my copay, charged my insurance , and have done nothing for me. They are refusing to try a different med. I will be finding a new doctor.
