Dr Matthew Boeckman

I have been seeing Dr. Boeckman for several years now. I have always had a great experience with him. I cannot say the same for his PA. She has been nothing but rude and condescending. She puts off a vibe that she is better than anyone else. I requested to not see her again at any of my future appointments.

Other than long wait times, DR Boeckman is a very caring and responsible Physician.

I admit I'm a tough patient to please. I'm set in my ways and I don't like change. I was prepared to not like Dr. Boeckman because I didn't want to go to a new doctor. My previous pain doctor moved without warning so I didn't have a choice. When Dr. Boeckman started telling me about changes he'd like to make and other options he'd like to try, I about walked out the door. The best thing I ever did was to hold my tongue and listen. I'm amazed at how much better I feel. I didn't realize how over medicated I'd been until I started cutting back. I'm no longer walking around like a zombie. I'll always have problems with my back but I feel like I've gotten my life back. I don't want to sleep all day and am not nodding off during conversations. I am so thankful to Dr. Boeckman. He truly wants the best for his patients. It's hard to hear you need to make changes when you think you know what works but I am so grateful that I did.

I was skeptical after seeing the previous comments, but after my visit I'm not sure if we're talking about the same physician. I did wait to be seen for 30-45 min after my scheduled appointment but that isn't uncommon. Dr. Boeckman was very professional and knowledgeable about my condition. He questioned the amount of medication I was on and the reasoning behind it. I had just been taking what I was prescribed assuming that's what I needed. Thankfully he was able to give me alternatives to medication that my previous provider never offered. Instead of just increasing my medication at every visit to the point I could no longer function, or required a stimulant to stay awake. I didn't realize how poorly managed my pain medications had been until now. If you want to find a great pain specialist that actually cares, look for one with a low rating because the chances are it's the drug seekers leaving the bad ratings and not the people that actually want help. I can't thank Dr. Boeckman… enough for giving me my life back. I'm always going to have pain but I am no longer semi comatose and on a lethal amount of medication.

I HAVE MY LIFE BACK. I WAS WITH A DIFFERENT PAIN MANAGEMENT DOC PRIOR TO DR BOECKMAN, HE HAD ME ON SO MUCH PAIN MEDS I DIDN'T KNOW WHO OR WHERE I WAS ON. DR BOECKMAN CHANGED MY MEDS, MY PAIN IS THE SAME BUT I'M ALERT AND LIVING LIFE AGAIN. I THOUGHT I HAD TO HAVE ALL THOSE MEDS BUT HE WAS RIGHT, MORE IS NOT BETTER JUST MORE DANGEROUS. jUST BECAUSE HE DIDN'T GIVE ME WHAT I WANTED DOESN'T MEAN HE DOESN'T CARE BUT MAYBE HE CARES ENOUGH TO DO THE RIGHT THING

He is someone that is new and unsure about his decision making. So that means he will not be prescribing any narcotics. You will not get any in-depth description about your ailments because he simply doesn't have the experience.

For this young inexperienced fella to waste people's time is terrible for people that are in pain..Anybody that has any common sense, knows that pain medication will not cure anoyone's pain but to get around the house they will need pain medication. If you are able to walk into his office unassisted then you will not be getting any pain medication. The more people that pass this word along will get this fella out of this office. Because insurance pays for him to act unprofessional and waste people's time.Even the lady working the front desk warned me how everybody was leaving him because of his attitude and lack to give prescriptions. If anything matt boekman should be paying the patients to come see him and(play dr).. He also needs to be paying the insurance companies for him to see their payees.

This guy is as old as other doctors has experience. I have a terrible nerve impingement that requires surgery but been sent to him. All he did was ask questions while he never looked at me. He's a very disrespectful young person trying to be a doctor.

I have never been treated so badly by a Dr. I have no idea how he maintains a license... We waited 2 hours to be seen and then he had the gul to look at his watch our whole visit. My husband asked him a question and he acted put out. I won't be going back to see him.

He was a joke. He was mean to little old very wealthy women and mean to me. He was not professional. He charged me $800 for a urine test. He rushed me through a epidural shot saying he was behind in schedule. I got no relief at all. This is my first time to ever complain on a Dr. But he deserves this. He needs to be stripped of his license after everything I've heard.
