Dr. Matthew C Chelich, MD

I am so frustrated with the doctor's office I can't even see straight. I started to see Dr. Checlich in 2023 and was very happy with the doctor and his staff. Lately, not so much. I have been getting the run around for 2 and a half months on a referral for an orthopedic specialist. Either no one is in the office to answer a call or the voicemail is full. When the specialist called there, they have left messages with no return response. I am ready to find a new doctor.

Dr. Matthew Chelich: You might be a good Physician, but your medical staff is lackluster. The few times I came for an appointment never have I been greeted with a smile. Tammy has an attitude from the word say-go. When calling your office, there is no empathy for the patient. Last year I called the office to make an appointment, described my symptoms, and was informed to go to Urgent Care. Why would I want to go to Urgent Care and get a huge bill? I was denied an EpiPen prescription due to your office not doing its job. I had to fight with the insurance company myself. I came into the office for a visit and showed you this information. I never heard anything back from you or your staff about the matter. On Sunday, went to Urgent Care and was diagnosed with Vertigo. Called your office to explain the situation to the young lady, and she wanted to give me a two-week appointment how does this make sense? Physicians are no more healers, and healing is no longer. It is just a service… rendered. Medicine, a once noble and holy profession, has been defined as "services rendered".

From my initial call to my actual getting in touch with a live person, the receptionist and nurse were obnoxious. I sent 2 faxes to get the doctor to write a script for Contour Next blood sugar tabs & microlets. The nurse had no clue what I was talking about. I had to explain. I told her I sent 2 faxes which she said were never received. One, maybe but not two. What's disturbing is that I've been a patient of Dr. Chelich since he first began his practice. Now, because of the rudeness etc, I'll have to look for a new PCP. The nurse said I was rude. I probably was after she basically called me a lier about the faxes-now that's rude. Dr. Chelich is excellent.

Very good Doctor.

An exceptional Doctor great on diagnosis and will refer patient to specialist if he feels needed without hesitation. Have complete trust in his advice. A Doctor you can talk to and get a understandable explanation to your questions

Dr. Chelich is an excellent Doctor and family practitioner. My family and I my (husband & two kids, well now one is a teenager and the other a young adult) have been seeing Dr. Chelich for many years now. Dr. Chelich has a very pleasant, relaxed demeanor. He very professional and quite interested in meeting his patientâ??s needs. His office is comfortable and well-decorated. He maintains a very diverse group of patients and he is a great listener (when you are conveying your medical concerns). If need-be Dr. Chelich has no problem referring you to see a see a specialist about an ailment. He really is an awesome caring-doctor.

Excellent service & staff. Dr. Chelich has been my family doctor for over 25 years. I highly recommend him. His staff Jackie & Kim are outstanding. Everyone there treats their patients with respect, dignity and like family.

He is awesome, I began seeing him when I was in my early twenties. I am now knocking on forty and I wouldn't trade him for anything in the world.

Office is very relaxed. Made to feel like you are important.
