Dr. Matthew Corbett Christopher

After a brief wait after checking in with the desk someone opened the inner door and called my name and said, "follow me" and we went to the back side of the bldg where she did x-rays. Then I followed her to the exam room and she said she would get the doctor. After about 20 minutes during which time I could hear her speaking with someone around the corner she came back. She explained what procedures would be done on the next 3 visits then left and came back with another lady. This lady asked to see the lower denture which had a sharp edge which was bothering me. She filed it down and I asked, "are you a dental tech?" and she replied, "I am a dentist" and the other one said, "I am a dental tech" (I thought she just did x-rays). Neither had introduced herself or did the usual 'how are you today pleasantries - seemed cold and unprofessional. My dental insurance which is excellent had also been checked but they were unaware of that or the fact I had a blank check with me should … that be necessary. I told them how I felt and when I got home I cancelled the next appointment. Dr. Christopher has worked on me and I have no complaint about him.

Doctors did not listen to my primary complaint. Therefore, a root canal was done on a tooth that was not the primary issue, necessitating a second root canal (done at a different office). I still have discomfort with the tooth that had the root canal at MC's office - well over a month ago and must see another dentist. Disappointing.
