Dr. Matthew Robert Churchill, MD

Very caring, very concerned and also prompt which is an added bonus.

Dr. Churchill is very smart and really takes his time explaining things to you. He also is very prompt in responding to emails and is very kind. I highly recommend Dr. Churchill for any neurology needs, especially if you are dealing with migraines. The staff is also very nice and welcoming.

I found DR. Churchill to be very concerned and thoughtful .

Needs to retire. Better suited to a sanitation engineer.

I like Dr. Churchill as a doctor, but his staff has much to be desired. I have seen him for about 2 1/2 years now and I am going to have to find a new dr. Again, I do not find fault in him, it is his staff. I have had to leave a neurologist in my younger years for the same reason. I keep my own file of their mistakes or behaviors and today I have had to make the decision to just find someone else. After leaving a message this morning and no one responding all day or refilling the medication I need for epilepsy I somehow got in a call to the front desk after hours. She told me there were no nursing/medical assisting staff or anyone to fill the medication so I would have to call back tomorrow. I asked if there were any doctors there and she said no, But Dr. Churchill was in with his last patient. I would have to call back tomorrow or leave a message on the patient care line for them to get to tomorrow. Absolutely not. I let her know I didn't care if she had to wait outside that… door. Well, I did get my prescription finally called in, but I think it was just the last strike. People who work in a Neurologists office need to know that sometimes "tomorrow" isn't soon enough. Some lesser issues are their phone system, and having very long hold times. Also, if you schedule here, remember to always keep your appointment cards and bring them with you on the day of your appointment. Luckily I do that. I showed up to my appointment a couple of appointments ago and was told that they were sorry but my appointment was the day before. They could get me in in a week. I pulled out my card and they buzzed Dr. Churchill and he was able to see me right away (even though they couldn't get me in for a week.) Billing Dept is a bit sketchy as well. Once again, Dr. Churchill is a great doctor as I am sure are all of the rest their, but their patients suffer due to the staff. I have not had issue with the nurses or medical assistants.

Extremely personable. Does not rush you but is thorough, goes to bat for patients when appropriate tests need to be done and the insurer denies coverage. True pt advocate who is not trying to game the system Does not try to push meds or unnecessary tests. As a healthcare professional Dr. Chruchill10/10 in my book

Dr. Churchill is the best neurologist I have met so far. But it is disappointing that his office disappoints him. The billing in his office lies to patients. It is hard to get an appointment. Waiting on the phone to make an appointment is a big hassle. A big disappointment for such a great doctor.
