Dr. Matthew John Conklin, MD

Incredibly rude. We were at the emergency room because my daughter collapsed in the back seat of the van. She has a heart condition that has never caused problems before. We were 8 hours away from our home and our pediatric cardiologist. He only took and xray and gave her Tylenol. No blood tests were drawn. We stayed in town an extra day we were so afraid to drive home. He was condescending as if we were wasting his time and used pocket psychobabble words to passively aggressively insult us as concerned parents. He did not satisfactorily ease those concerns and put the blame on us for not understanding him.He shouldn't be in medicine.

If a friend were going to see Dr. Conklin, I would tell them to run. My most memorable experience was when he said my lungs were "rumbling" but that was probably from years of smoking. I have NEVER smoked in my life?? He talks over you, you can't ask questions, he's walks and talks so fast, he appears to be ADHD. I thought he was completely inept. We had to go two days later to see a real doctor and were treated by him.
