Dr. Matthew S Conner, DO

Staff which take call and do appointment scheduling is rude and careless about patient, at least with me. They called a day before the appointment and changed place of appointment (more than 10 miles away), time of appointment and interestingly also replaced doctor with his PA. When I called to recheck, they were rude. They claim doctor only meet with patients with emergency. When I asked for the reason why this was not informed before as I am seeing the doctor for 2nd time, even the first instance was not emergency. They kept me on hold forever. On 2nd call staff mentioned that the manager would like to talk to me and transferred the call which went to voice mail. Even previous experience of calling this office was unpleasant

I saw Dr. Conner in Berbera, Somaliland, where he was sharing his time and expertise to make the world a better place and I was on a ship bringing grain in the Food For Peace program. The care he provided for me was terrific. Obviously a kind and truly caring doctor. As I too, am from Austin, TX, I can say unequivocally that were he in private practice as a GP, he would be our family doctor.
