I find the doctor cocky, a poor listener, as you have to interrupt him to speak and highly focused on what he believes is the best treatment for me, but he doesn't show a CV lot of interest in my concerns.

Small item The Dr. Could speak a little slower so we can hear everything he says while trying to to process the info and the magnitude of the info. Otherwise, great demeanor - very approachable and friendly.

This was my first visit with UCSF and Dr. Cooperberg. Prostate cancer has been very stressful, and this was the first time I felt a real sense of clarity and confidence afterward. It took a lot of weight off.

Excellent and confident

His expertise was excellent and I appreciated his concern to provide the least invasive yet effective treatment was a wonderful relief. His was a second option and the first option was to begin with a more invasive procedure.

Disappointed. I had heard good things but found his manner curt, rude and arrogant. Other folks also suggested I look elsewhere.

As a medical professional myself, I can tell you this doctor is unprofessional and lacks any empathy. He seems to be biased based on your background and ethnicity. I would not recommend anyone who is not from his background use him as their doctor. Do some research and you will see for yourself. So unfortunate that a doctor who took an oath, with years of education and experience blatantly express his unethical beliefs.

Great bedside manner, top-notch surgical skill and outcomes. Amazing knowledge base.
