The staff is very polite and attentive. I had a humerus fracture, and Dr. Matthew Craig performed the surgery with great care. The recovery process was well-managed, and I felt confident at every stage. He is a highly qualified specialist and an excellent surgeon. I truly appreciate the high level of medical service I received.

dr.craig is a great surgeon??????he literally put my right leg and right elbow back together. ??my leg was broken in 3 places and my elbow in one…… he clearly explained my xrays & answered all of my questions in all of my follow up office visits…….i am back to being able to do all of my normal activities thanks to his magic?? my gratitude far surpasses any words i can say??

A great fall from my roof caused me to have an open displaced fractured pelvis. With the intellect and skill of Dr. Matthew Craig, I was walking with the aid of 2 crutches within 7 days. Dr Craig is modest and refused to take all the credit, deflecting my compliments to his colleagues who kept me alive so Dr. Craig could do his masterful orthopedic surgery, installing much needed stainless steel hardware. At my first follow up appointment 30 days after my fall, Dr. Craig took the time to explain in great detail all the surgeries that were performed on me. He was engaging and personable,.I was comfortable during our conversation. Dr. Craig has all the right stuff.

Dr. Craig performed emergency surgery on my hip. His skill has allowed me to retain my mobility and enjoy everyday life. I’m very grateful for such a dedicated doctor.

Dr. Craig was on time. He showed me the follow up x-rays and explained the next course of action including physical therapy for my ankle and shoulder fractures. He was empathetic, and answered all of my questions. Highly recommend.

If I could leave 0 stars I would ! I had the worst experience with this man! I was in an accident almost 2 weeks ago and I was told I had to have surgery right after breaking my collar bone . I was in excruciating pain and traumatized from the accident and also on a lot of narcotics. The night before the surgery my mom went to the hospital to help me shower and she asked if any body piercings need to come out and the nurse said no . She said to leave it in and if so she will take it out in the morning. We found that strange but left it in . In the morning I was woken up by a bunch of nurses and doctors and everything was happening so fast . I could barely move . The nurse gave me thumbs up saying I’m good to keep it in . I told Dr Craig I was surprised and he looked at me and flipped out !!! He started screaming at me saying that should have been out last night , if you want surgery you need to take it out , I guess you don’t want it ! He wouldn’t even let me speak . I was… hyperventilating and it wasn’t helping knowing that this was the man who was about to cut into my body. He then cut me off again and said we need to go down into the surgery room and I said I wanted the nurse up here to take it out and he said I have better nurses. Once I got down there I was crying and trying to calm myself down . He was telling the nurses I had a problem taking it out when I didn’t !!!! He just wouldn’t listen and should have been taking this out on the nurse. The anastethioligst was extremely nice and was trying to calm me down! I said I couldn’t be put under without talking to the doctor and feeling safe. When I tried to talk to him he would not listen , he would just try and argue . I told him how I was scared and how no patient should feel unsafe with the doctor before surgery . I asked if we could just be in a good spot and he kept yelling at me saying I left it in and out of no where telling me how is is the best doctor in pa other then downtown . He was so arrogant , I begged for him to just tell me we were ok and he kept saying you don’t have to do this but you will never find a doctor like me ! I told him to walk out of the room, I couldn’t handle this . I told the anastethiologist I may be crazy for doing this but to put me under , he said he would make sure I’m safe . When I came out of surgery instead of feeling relieved I was having more trauma all day !!! I kept visualizing “the best doctor “ acting so unprofessional and making me feel extremely scared. Later that day my parents had him come to the room since I was a mess and they could see how much of an arragent man he was ! He still was saying he was the best doctor and wasn’t there to make me feel comfortable. My parents filed a complaint and he is no longer my doctor !!! If you are looking for a good surgeon , yea maybe he can stich you up but Dr Craig is someone who has no feelings and will honestly treat you like crap and disrespect you . You will be emotionally abused from this doctor . I am only sharing this because I do not want anyone to have to go through what I did with this doctor!!!

Dr. Craig undid the wrong surgical fix and then properly repaired a broken ankle. Just two weeks after the surgery, the outcome changed from possibly never walking again to a real pathway back to the same active lifestyle enjoyed before the fall that broke the ankle. He explained everything well. Did he wander off and make us wait at times? Yes, but I do believe he is worth waiting for, and his staff is terrific keeping track of the overall progress of the appointment.
