This review is the former as I could not be more pleased with the quality of care Dr. Crawford provided to me. I am admittedly a bad patient and prefer as little medical intervention as possible. When I broke my wrist, I was told by another orthopedist my only option was surgery. Troubled by this prognosis, I turned to Dr. Crawford for a second opinion; he was recommended to me by a friend in the sports industry. Dr. Crawford thoughtfully reviewed my x-rays and gave me treatment options in line with my desire for a nonsurgical path. While Dr. Crawford explained there was an easier and perhaps more effective means of treating my break through surgery, he was considerate and respectful of my wishes. He provided a high level of care and gave me the outcome I desired. His knowledge and bedside manner are equally impeccable. I would recommend Dr. Crawford without hesitation to anyone in need of… an orthopedic specialist for any reason.

I have no problem with the skill set, bedside manner or follow up care of this physician but be very sure you check all your billing statements. The staff did not properly ascertain my insurance coverage and I was charged a hefty co-pay prior to surgery. I have now spent more than a month trying to get it all back since the coverage from insurance was 100%. Today I got the insurance company involved since numerous calls from me have been ineffective and we got several different stories from the billing office over the course of a fifteen minute call. I have had multiple surgeries performed by different physicians and this is the only time that anyone has put the blame on me for a billing error. If I was talking about a few dollars I wouldn't put up a fuss but this is for $995.

I broke my ankle this summer and I couldn't have asked for a more caring surgeon to help get me through this life event. His staff, Casey and Cindy, complement the time and compassion of Dr. Crawford. Even through some complications I had, definitely not due to his care, they were there for me until I was completely healed. I am an RN and can't complement this doctor high enough.

Dr. Crawford is exactly what a doctor should be - brilliant, talented, thorough and empathetic. He treats his patients with courtesy, respect and caring. He is accurate and precise with his diagnoses and is an extremely skilled surgeon. It is not always the case that one so technically proficient is equally gifted in the so-called bedside manner; Dr. Crawford possesses both skills. He explains everything clearly and comprehensively and is an excellent listener, as well. Just an all-around tremendous physician.

Dr. Crawford performed magic on my shoulder. Complicated surgery but obtained results we wanted to resume complete activities. My wife had knee surgery with like results. Would use him for again without hesitation.

Finally felt like someone was listening. Been working on shoulder issues for years....at last looking forward to moving forward!! Thanks Doc!

Dr. Crawford took great care of me! I blew my Shoulder out and my GP tried to cure it with Antibiotics and PT. Dr. Crawford stopped the madness and had me under the knife after a thorough examination. I am please to say it has been more than a year and I am completely pain free with fantastic range of motion. You are a fool if you dont use this Dr. for consultation or at least a second opinion!
