Dr. Matthew Richard Denny, MD

I have been a patient of Matthew Denny for a few years. Recently, l have been experiencing excruciating eye pain in my left eye. I saw him for five minutes and he summarily dismissed me with a prescription for steroid eye drops. When these didn’t work, he advised me to increase the dosage and come back to see him. After another week, still no relief, so l attempted to make an appointment per his instructions. In the meantime, l saw my optometrist out of desperation and he recommended a scan of the eye since my pressures were normal. When l attempted to make an appointment with Denny, l was told that he would not treat me going forward and to see another doctor. This was wrong in so many ways . All doctors are obligated to provide a 30 day notice of termination to treat with a reason, and a referral to another doctor. He did neither! I am still experiencing pain and hoping that it is nothing serious.
