Last December I had an appointment with Dr. DesJardins and expected to discuss a knee replacement but he recommended a knee injection of cushioning gel. He said it may last for six months. During those six months I gym exercised 3x week and walked about two miles per day and an occasional round of golf. All the while may knee felt good. The past few weeks my knee pain and noticeable weakness was back.This week I returned (after six months) for a second injection. This is two days later and the pain is gone and most of the strength has returned. I played 18 holes yesterday and exercised for an hour today. If you elect for the injection, I would recommend staying active, walking and exercise.

Dr. Desjardins helped improve my back pain so much that I have scheduled another appointment with him to treat my ankle issues.

Dr D was great. He took the time to listen to me and was so friendly. He was able to tell me exactly what was wrong and how we would treat it. I would highly recommend.
