Dr. Matthew David Dickson, MD

Dr. Dickson is such an amazing doctor, He let my family and I know from the beginning, what our treatment plan was and as well as updated us throughout our care, which I have had a lot of doctors not do, they left it for the Nurse. He was very kind, caring and very knowledgeable. I truly appreciate how he cared for my family and I. He answered all my questions and he took the time to explain everything to me. I felt very comfortable and safe in his hands. He’s a very knowledgeable doctor and I truly appreciate him. Thank you Dr. Dickson for all your help.

My son and his friend were boxing around in his room and his friend busted his lip open by accident. It was late and unsure what to do so we went the ER. Dr. Dickson was on call and he and both nurses were very attentive to my son. Discussed options and recommendations overall. Highly recommend him. He was timely, pleasant and overall kept asking my son if he was ok while sewing up his lip. Highly recommend!

Please, do not go to this OhioHealth to see this doctor. Please. During my visit to the emergency room, Matthew David Dickson, MD, showed no interest in caring for me or addressing my problem properly. He was more concerned about the time that I had came in than the reason I was there. Him and the nurse constantly had this urgency to get out of the room and not be bothered with any of my questions. The nurse also didn’t bother getting too close to me, as she didn’t even bother to assess my lungs during the routine check. So, the respiratory information was wrong on my print out, also. While waiting alone in the room for nearly an hour without any nurse checking in, I heard the doctor, Matthew, as he approached my door. I overheard him making very derogatory comments about me and my name to the nurse. He opened the door and came into the room, then acted as if he didn’t care that I heard him; and continued to act as if he cared. The nurse stood outside the door while he went over the… results. I asked him a question and as I was speaking, the nurse abruptly walked away, gesturing as if my concerns were not important. You go in. And, you trust these people. How is all this acceptable? They just do not care. And, unfortunately, the nurse also never bothered giving her name during the visit. These people at this location left me with an impression no patient should ever feel. Will never return.

Dr Dickson is a wonderful caring doctor. He's very knowledgeable and does everything he can to help you Not only solve your physical problems but he helps calm any fears you may have.

Dr. Dickson was great. Very easy to talk to and spent as much time as needed answering questions.
