Dr. Matthew John Dilena, MD

Dr. Dilena provides top notch care. He listens to all my concerns and provides feedback that will help satisfy or fix the situation at hand. He has been my OB/GYN for over 30 years and has done multiple surgeries and procedures on me. My 2 daughters are also patients of his and we would never want to be under the care of any other physician. He takes his time to talk with us and we are never rushed through our appointment. Even when we are nervous, we know we are being given the best care possible. During annual appointments, we are never nervous knowing we are in the best hands and we even check in on each other like family. If we walk in with an issue or problem, we are led to the solution. He takes his time to explain what is happening and what our next steps will be. Thank you Dr. Dilena for being our #1 doctor.

Dr. Dilena is always pleasant to talk to. During the exams he goes over all your concerns and answers them completely and where you can fully understand the diagnosis. He is very compassionate and understanding.

I recently had a colposcopy performed by Dr. Dilena, and I cannot express enough how incredible he is as a physician. The entire experience went exactly as he explained beforehand—clear, calm, and reassuring. He is truly one of the most patient, sincere, and caring doctors I’ve ever met. Dr. Dilena is not only skilled and professional, but also genuinely compassionate. I am so grateful for the level of comfort and confidence he gave me throughout the process. He is truly a wonderful doctor, and I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a gynecologist who truly cares about their patients. Dr. Dilena is truly outstanding. He delivered both of my children via C-section and provided exceptional care every step of the way. As someone who tends to be very anxious, I can’t express how much it meant that he took the time to build a trusting relationship with me. His bedside manner is incredibly kind, patient, and reassuring — he always made me feel at ease and well cared for. Now that I’m done having children, I continue to see him for my regular annual visits, and the relationship is just as strong. I genuinely look forward to my appointments with him, which says a lot! Dr dilena is a one in a million doctor. I can go on forever about him and have recommended my mother, best friends, and countless others to him since establishing care with him. I am a physician and worked with him in passing and saw how satisfied and taken care of his patients were which is what prompted my switch to him! At the first visit he was so prepared and had reviewed my entire chart. He asked such thorough questions to both my husband and I and spent 45+ minutes with us counseling us on what to expect, and explaining in detail answers to all of my questions. He also preforms an ultrasound at every prenatal visit which is amazing! He always tells me at every visit what to anticipate and what the next steps are should something come up. He never just gives me yes/no responses - he always explains why and how. I leave each visit feeling so calm knowing my health is in the best hands. I truly trust him with my health. I never feel the need to look anything up because he always… educates me and is so experienced and knowledgeable. He preformed my c section with such expertise and I had a huge baby. I am forever thankful to have such an amazing doctor!

Dr. DiLena is a great physician but also a very friendly, compassionate, and calm person. During one of my OB visits, my blood pressure was high and he spent time with me trying to calm me down and assess the situation in such a caring and friendly way. I truly felt that both my baby and I were in good hands. Cannot recommend him enough, thank you for all you do!
