Dr. Matthew Theodore Draelos, MD

Dr. Draelos has a very comprehensive clinic. I go in with questions and I always leave with the answers. I love how your blood is drawn 15 minutes before your consult with the physician and you have your blood results before you leave. Also the office staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

Draelos was only interested in my thyroid condition. Any other questions not related to thyroid care were met with apathy. Certain staff members which I had to come into contact with on a regular basis were very cold with a sour attitude. Good luck if you choose to go here.

I've been a patient of Brock's and he's done nothing but help me out! Their staff and providers are always working to make sure I get what I need. I would recommend them to anyone. They are truly the best.

I have a rare endocrine disorder and struggled finding an endocrinologist in the OKC area familiar enough with it to properly treat it. Luckily Dr. Draelos provided insight and the proper treatment, for which I’m forever grateful. However, the incompetence of the office staff has fully negated any positivity I associate with the practice. Getting prior authorizations approved with insurance was a complete nightmare because the staff would not submit the paperwork time and time again then would lie and say they did and insurance denied it hoping I’d quit calling (but insurance had no record of receiving paperwork from them). This happened on at least 5 different occasions. Once I got ahold of someone capable (the hard part since they don’t answer the phone 90% of the time and don’t return calls), it was suddenly approved with no problems.

Staff is rude, apathetic and unprofessional. Calls go unanswered and unreturned. Online request go unanswered. Tried for weeks to get my medical records, as did the other doctors office, to no avail. It’s a shame because I really like Dr. Draelos but good luck getting in to see him. Critical follow up appointments have been canceled with the promise of a reschedule months later, these people are putting my life at risk. I frankly don’t understand it. And it’s not like this was once or twice, it’s multiple failures and many chances to improve but they don’t seem interested in Improvement.

Dr. Draelos is a competent physician and spends quality time talking with patients.

The doctors are all very interested in your well being and are very concerned about your health. I have never been seen by someone that Did not try to help you out to their best ability. Contacting them by phone is very hard? However most doctor's offices are this way now. My only pet peeve is getting in to see doctor and getting out. Due to wait time on their schedule.
